Perhaps she could go right to the source...Educational Testing Service (ETS) in Princeton, New Jersey, creator of the SAT. On Friday, Sept 19th, ETS sponsored a free ESL Teachers' Conference on "The SAT II: English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT):Promoting Better Understanding of ESL Proficiency Testing and Its Use for College Admission" in San Francisco. While this conference was specifically intended to promote a new type of SAT II test (formerly called Achievement Test,) to be used by students who have lived in the USA for two to four years, the conference speakers were extremely knowledgeable and willing to answer questions about all aspects of the SAT. Try contacting either of these ETS Associate Examiners: Marcia Reeves <mreeves@ets.org> Ph: 609-683-2570 Carmen Luna <cluna@ets.org> Ph: 609-683-2587 Hope this is helpful.
