Our first idea is a search for a video series that explains our educational system - all the way from why the United States has a public school system to fundamentals such as the importance of: calling the school when a child is sick, participation in school activities, working with your child on homework, communication with the teacher, etc. There are so many resources out there that we didn't want to undertake a production without checking them out first, and my assignment was to write the good folks on the NIFL ESL list for ideas.
