Isn't enough evidence the fact that the United States is becoming the only monolingual country left on earth? We are twenty years behind European linguistic and cultural ideology (to unite rather than divide) and even behind third world countries who are fast advancing toward bilingualism. I am frankly embarrased to live in such a backward and "anti-culture" country! regards, Mariella Espinoza-Herold
