I would prefer they were reading about the triumphant Cleveland Indians,
but  like Krashen says, keep them reading about anything that interests
them.
Could you tie in a math lesson on percentages or batting averages, or
perhaps the history of baseball..maybe a geography lesson on where the
different teams hail from?
