While some exchanges have been well thought out and appropriately (and professionally) presented in the context of rational debate, others are showing hurt, anger and discourtesy that is taking a lot of integrity out of what I have seen this list used for previously. I suggest that those who continue to take strong issue with certain individuals who are prolonging this debate in a less than appropriate way do so by e-mailing those individuals directly, as opposed to posting them to the list. Open discussion of such topics is important for many different reasons but abrasiveness is a big turn off. Brigitte Marshall
