I, like some others have grown tired of some of the interactions around this
current issue. While some exchanges have been well thought out and
appropriately (and professionally) presented in the context of rational
debate, others are showing hurt, anger and discourtesy that is taking a lot of
integrity out of what I have seen this list used for previously. I suggest
that those who continue to take strong issue with certain individuals who are
prolonging this debate in a less than appropriate way do so by e-mailing those
individuals directly, as opposed to posting them to the list. Open discussion
of such topics is important for many different reasons but abrasiveness is a
big turn off.
