There is so much to chose from. I hired someone (a former
esl student who is fully computer literate) to review software
and make recommendations. In February of 1998 he
recommended (after reviewing several programs) Quick
English, Learn to Speak English (The Learning Company)
and Pronunciation Power. We also purchased The American
Heritage Talking Dictionary and Accent Lab.

Can any one offer some suggestions for really good
computer software for
ESL learners. I received some money to buy software and
don't know what
would be useful.

Thank you and Merry Christmas and have a Happy and Safe
1999.
