Hello All,

The various messages posted to this list have interested me.

This upcoming January, I will assist an ESL teacher at The Nationalities
Service Center. The learners are adults from several language backgrounds.
Are there texts that I should read before I begin? My previous experience
was tutoring at a literacy agency. Because the language was common (both of
us, speaking English), I did not do any special reading before I started
those sessions.

I look forward to any suggestions.

Thanks,

Dana Cooper
