Collegues
 I would hope the few students in Special Education  were 
placed due to their iep not "Inclusion" law which exists in  your 
school.
The department head of Special Ed should give you some knowledgable
feedback on this idea, whether it is viable, and what her opinions truly
are.In addition to advice about curriculum,etc. you will save her a lot
of money.
