As you've no doubt heard, I've assumed "moderatorship" of the listserv in the wake of Fran's departure and I'm very excited about working with you all. I've been involved in adult ESL education, initially as a teacher and now as a teacher and member of the NCLE staff, for about ten years now, and I have grown to love both the rewarding work and the dedicated people involved in it. The exchanges on this list--thought-provoking, supportive, creative, and personally and professionally generative--have never failed to reflect the best aspects of this field. I really look forward to becoming more involved with the great group of people who have consistently made this possible.
