Help! We are looking for a reliable yet easy LD
screening tool to use with ESL students. For
example, in one of the centers we have a young
Somali woman who has been in the beginning level
of the ESL program for nearly three years. She
seems to have memory problems and processing
difficulties; but how does one accurately assess
or screen for learning disabilities or determine
if she developmentally disabled? What tool can we
use. She is still basically at the same place on
the BEST. Does anyone have any ideas?
