Hi Dottie,
If we do begin a curriculum research project, it will be because we =
have many new adult ESOL teachers in our state who have asked for a set =
of curriculum frameworks for their programs. We also have many =
experienced adult ESOL teachers who would appreciate information on a =
progression of knowledge for their programs.
We do not intend to "mandate" that teachers forego " student needs" not =
will this inhibit a "student-centered" curriculum. Hopefully we can =
accomplish the implementation of an adult ESOL curriculum and keep the =
best of our present "teacher/student practices".
