If you already have a new email account, all you have to do is REsubscribe using your new email address according to the following procedure: Subscribe to the list by sending a subscription request from your new email account to: LISTPROC@LITERACY.NIFL.GOV with the following request in the BODY of the message: subscribe LIST_NIFL-ESL firstname lastname Substitute your first and last name spelled exactly as you would like it to appear. For example, to subscribe to the NIFL-ESL list Sue Smith would type: subscribe NIFL-ESL Sue Smith There should be no other text in the message (e.g., your signature block). It is recommended that the subject line be left blank if possible with your e-mail client. Give the discussion list a couple of minutes to respond. You should receive a return mail message welcoming you to the list you subscribed to. ____ To UNsubscribe from your old email account, follow the directions below: Unsubscribe by issuing a request to: LISTPROC@LITERACY.NIFL.GOV with the following message body: unsubscribe LIST_NAME_GOES_HERE (listname being NIFL-ESL) Again, leave the SUBJECT blank if possible. ___ I hope this helps. You can always go to the website at http://www.nifl.gov/lincs/discussions/nifl-esl/english_second_language.html and find directions as well.
