I am sorry. I do indeed respect your knowledge of the issue, and was not intending to "bait", with all the connotations that possesses. Wasn't smart enough for that occur to me. I guess I am acting under the assumption that this discussion is in the act of proceeding, not "starting", if that is what you meant .. The "fervid" cross-postings are meant to cast a net, so to speak, and receive as much feedback as possible. As I said in the message, I am still learning about the issue. And I believe that it is a matter of interest to many in the teaching profession. In any case, the question is, do you see the problems characteristic of cyber education to reside primarily (2) within the "teacher" herself - therefore solved by more training & support; (2) in a more generalized area, in terms of basic pedagogical issues; or (3) both(!)? ===== Gerry Lassche O: 0562 221 5085 F: 0562 221 5030 ************************************ Globalization Education Team POSCO Education & Training Center PO Box 36, 74-3 Gigok-dong, Nam-ku Pohang City, Kyungbok KOREA 790-390 __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
