I am sorry. I do indeed respect your knowledge of the
issue, and was not intending to "bait", with all the
connotations that possesses. Wasn't smart enough for
that occur to me. I guess I am acting under the
assumption that this discussion is in the act of
proceeding, not "starting", if that is what you meant
..

The "fervid" cross-postings are meant to cast a net,
so to speak, and receive as much feedback as possible.
As I said in the message, I am still learning about
the issue. And I believe that it is a matter of
interest to many in the teaching profession.

In any case, the question is, do you see the problems
characteristic of cyber education to reside primarily
(2) within the "teacher" herself - therefore solved by
more training & support; (2) in a more generalized
area, in terms of basic pedagogical issues; or (3)
both(!)?
