X-Listprocessor-Version: 6.0c -- ListProcessor by Anastasios Kotsikonas Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Status: O Content-Length: 1027 Lines: 28 I have a colleague who is looking for a non-technical ESL teacher training text she can use in a college intensive course. Her students will likely go on to do volunteer ESL outreach in the US and overseas; certification is not an issue for this course. I have pointed her to the "ESL Starter Kit" published by the Virginia Education Dept.--this is available online at http://www.vcu.edu/aelweb/pubs.html and is a wonderful introduction to ESL teaching, plus it's free. Does anybody have other suggestions that might provide a good intro for new teachers? Or, perhaps you can point us toward the right place to look. Thank you!
