Even more important (to me), my "Intro" (least skilled) adults greatly enjoy both my reading to them & their "read aloud" activities. I try to use "Very Easy true Stories" every week after the first 6-8 weeks of the sememster. They really enjoy the stories & talk more freely about them. I also read other short (so-called) children's books to them -- good listening, discussion & (informal) pronunciation exercises as well as giving them wider exposure to the language. It's fun too.
