Jim Trelease, also known as the read-aloud guru, has published a guidebook
called "The Read-Aloud Handbook" in which he promotes reading aloud and
offers documented success stories and tips for effective learning. The book
is likely to be found in most public libraries.

He has a web-site at www.trelease-on-reading.com and also published 2
anthologies.

He was the keynote speaker at our TN Family Learning Partnership Institute
and he is a dynamic and entertaining presenter. The teachers and parents
rated him as the best part of the entire conference.
