The collection is on the Web at http://www.cal.org/ncle/REScivics.htm and includes NCLE and ERIC publications, articles and books for teachers, a bibliography of learner textbooks, as well as information on Web sites, organizations, and policy topics. Teachers can use these resources as they plan for integrating civics into instruction for adult English language learners. This resource collection also includes a link to annotated compilation of citizenship resources at http://www.cal.org/ncle/REScit.htm. Citizenship resources have been separated from the main civics education Web site for ease of searching and to highlight the fact that citizenship, as important as it is, is just one part of civics education. In the civics resource collection, NCLE invites you to also investigate books, articles, and Web sites that explore the broader issues of why and how practitioners can help adults meet their English language learning goals within the context of their own lives and communities.
