I have a big favor to ask everyone on the listserv: I am looking for nonnative English speaking teachers (NNEST) in Adult Basic Education programs who would be willing to be participants in a study I am conducting for my dissertation. Your participation would basically involve answering a questionnaire. I am not finished writing the questions yet, but would really like to know if there are any adult ed teachers who are nonnative speakers of English who wouldn't mind taking the time to answer the questions on the form I will send you. The questions will be easy and directed mainly to your practice as a teacher. If you know of anyone who is a NNEST in adult ed, please let them know of my request and tell them to email me. If you are interested and able to participate, please contact me at your earliest convenience. Thank you ver much! Also, for those of you involved with research in ESL and SLA, would you be able to point out studies that contain surveys/questionnaires that measure motivation to learn a language, or attitudes toward learning another language. Thank you very much! Rosie Maum
