We have huge numbers of Chinese students who work in our local casinos....in fact, we have reached our student limit, even with hundreds on our waiting lists. One of the things we have found is that they prefer to learn and have their English classes off site. Their goals (and ours for them) are a bit more elevated than their employers'. Though we would love to teach classes at their workplace for their convenience, we are thankful to have some off site space to work with them. Sincerely, Cheryl A. Egan, ESOL Teacher & Regional Coodinator for Norwich Adult Education, Norwich, CT
