Dear Colleagues:

I am pleased to announce that the new Program Leadership and Improvement
Special Collection web site [http://pli.cls.utk.edu] is now online and
linked to the LINCS home page, under COLLECTIONS.

The goal of the Program Leadership and Improvement Special Collection is to
provide access to quality online resources for adult basic and literacy
education leaders to improve program services and outcomes. Leaders include
program directors or managers, researchers, policy makers, learners,
funders, professional development staff, state adult education directors and
staff, board members, and adult education teachers.

The web site is a work in process and we are still making regular revisions
in both the look and organization of the site. Please take a look at it if
you get the chance. We welcome your suggestions and comments. Also, please
feel free to make recommendations for resources at any time by writing
directly to me <kchaney@utk.edu >. (The process for materials selection is
described under Selection Criteria.)

Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,
Kim Chaney-Bay
Center for Literacy Studies
