I wanted to promote "My Journey Home," a program that aired last night
on my local PBS station. You may have a chance to watch it still. It MAY
be airing at a different time on your PBS station. The way to check is
to go to http://www.pbs.org/weta/myjourneyhome/about/schedule.html and
enter your zip code.

Anyhow, it was a great documentary about race and immigration and
identity, built on the stories of three people: Armando Pena, Andrew Lam
and Faith Adiele. Given the recent discussion on this list, I thought it
would be an interesting resource for list members.

You can go to the show's website to explore the stories. Click on each
photo portrait to see the parts of each story. (There are also some
lesson plans but not for adult ed.)

Sorry I didn't post an advance notice. Even though I work at PBS, I
discover things by serendipity much of the time!
