Creating Success: FREE Russian-English Guide to Financial Security

Creating Success: Russian-English Guide to Financial Security in the USA is
a free, bilingual guide that offers hundreds of useful tips and contact
information for Russian speaking immigrants in need of assistance with
budgeting and job searches, financial and career planning and banking
basics, as well as information on how to protect families and women from
violence.

Vulnerable and alone, Russian-speaking immigrants, specifically women, can
fall prey to financial disarray, destitution and abuse in their adopted
homes. Through its extensive research, educational programming and advocacy
on the issues surrounding domestic violence in the Jewish community, Jewish
Women International understands the first step to achieving peace in the
home begins with financial security.

The 65-page guide presents practical, step-by-step formulas for calculating
an expense/income worksheet, real-life examples of money traps, Internet and
telephone resources and the latest legal information on female trafficking
statutes. It is designed with a keen introspect that takes into
consideration language-skill limitations, societal disparities and
differences in work cultures.

The Denver-based National Endowment for Financial Education, an independent,
nonprofit foundation dedicated to educating Americans about personal finance
wrote and produced Creating Success: Russian-English Guide to Financial
Security in the USA for Jewish Women International as a public service.

Creating Success is available in bulk orders of 90 copies per carton. They
are free but shipping costs will be charged. For more information email us
at tfeinson@jwi.org or call Tamar Feinson at 1-800-343-2823.

Jewish Women International, founded in 1897 as B'nai B'rith Women, envisions
a safe world for women, children and families. JWI is a community of women
joining hands, hearts and minds to promote peace through education, action
and advocacy.
