CT has a workplace institute. I believe you can find details about it on
www.crec.org/atdn. I have been involved previously with not-for-profit
organizations which offered workplace programs and this program had not yet
been created, though was in the process of formulation. I would very much
have appreciated standards and best practices, rather than reinventing the
wheel.

It's an interesting idea. Would the workshops be offered in different 
cities? Do you think such a certificate would make teachers more marketable 
to businesses?
