I suggest asking the company more questions... How do you mean that language
training to the ESL workers is not benefiting the company? What results
were you expecting? What in your opinion would be a successful training
program?

Get their specific objections on the table. Which objections are disguised
as suggestions as how to improve your program? Which objections are based on
misconceptions that can be overcome with strong data or a little education?

You have a great opportunity to learn more about your client's needs as well
as the effectiveness of the services you provide. Don't let it pass you by!

To the Group,

I need a little help.

I am going to have a meeting with managers at one of the companies I teach
at. They don't think the ESL program benefits the company, although there
are people who can see the students making progress.

If anyone has information on how ESL programs benefit companies, their
bottom line, productivity, etc. I would be grateful for the assistance.
