Paul (and other interested parties),

Information regarding the 2006 NABE conference can be
found at the NABE website. I just "googled" it and a
page containing all the necessary information came up.
. . . The program for this year's conference includes
several well-known researchers in the field of Second
Language Acquisition (e.g., Cummins, Krashen, Genesee,
and Freeman to name a few), so there should be plenty
of opportunities to gain interesting and applicable
knowledge about teaching ESL students of all ages.
Enjoy the conference!
Ryan Hall
