Concerning my inquiry about the results of the
bilingual adult ESL conference:
I am specifically interested in communicating with
people who are promoting a bilingual approach.
I am the author of a free bilingual web site for adult
ESL learners, Pumarosa.com. It is fairly effective
now, and will be expanded later into a full three year
curriculum. Texts will be offered in a few months.
Plus I also am using it to introduce instruction on
the basics of computers.
Pumarosa serves as a teachers' aide, and is a
complement to other computer programs.
So, I would be very interested in establishing
connections with others who have an interest in
promoting bilingualism not only as a sound educational
policy for adult ESL but also as a sound "cultural"
policy.
