Please avoid making excuses for working parents - join the rest of us. YOung
children are quite alert long after we would want them to go to bed, so use
the newly found energy to plan a routine that includes deliberate parent/
child meals and reading time in the early evening. Going to class after
the work day is how many of us obtained our degrees. I am a professional,
community activist and single parent of a 7 year old.
