(RGS) ************************************************ Glad to give some information on myself. I am a professor at the University noted below and I am particularily interested in community aspects for literacy learning - family literacy, literacy and health issues etc. My conceptual framework for literacy focuses on an Frieiran model to some extent although the avenues to "power" lie somewhere in beating the establishement at its own game (Delphitt and Auerbach and others). Have a good Christmas. Ruth Hayden, PhD ruth.hayden@ualberta.ca Professor Department of Elementary Education 535 Education South University of Alberta Edmonton, Alberta Canada T6G 2G5
