Glad to give some information on myself.  I am a professor at the University
noted below and I am particularily interested in community aspects for
literacy learning - family literacy, literacy and health issues etc.  My
conceptual framework for literacy focuses on an Frieiran model to some extent
although the avenues to "power" lie somewhere in beating the establishement
at its own game (Delphitt and Auerbach and 
others).
