Input Needed in Developing new NIFL initiative
The National Institute for Literacy would like to expand the resources
of the literacy field by publishing and widely disseminating some of
the work that has been produced by literacy practitioners,
researchers, and other interested parties. This new opportunity will
cover all publishing and dissemination costs for any chosen products,
but does not have any direct financial reimbursement.
Before soliciting products for review, the NIFL would like to hear
from the literacy field:
ú What materials do you most need?
ú Do you wish you had more information on a specific literacy topic
(ESL, Corrections, Family, etc.)? On local program issues? On policy
work? More stories by and for students? On the connection of literacy
to other vital social issues?
If this publishing program is to be a success, we need to make sure
we're meeting the needs of the field -- and we wnat you to tell us
what those needs are! Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you!
Please share your ideas and suggestions with
