Robin Jurczyk NIFL-Family list moderator rjurczyk@aol.com *********** CALL FOR PAPERS EARLY CHILDHOOD RESEARCH AND PRACTICE A New Electronic Journal from the ERIC Clearinghouse on Elementary and Early Childhood Education The ERIC Clearinghouse on Elementary and Early Childhood Education is currently seeking submissions to its new electronic journal, "Early Childhood Research and Practice." The peer-reviewed journal will feature articles on the growth, learning, development, care, and education of children from birth to approximately age 8. Scheduled to begin publication in Spring 1998, "Early Childhood Research and Practice" will focus on applied research or on research with practical implications. The journal will contain articles on practice-related research and development; issues related to practice, parent participation, and policy; and emerging practices and issues. "Early Childhood Research and Practice" will be of interest to researchers, practitioners, teacher educators, program planners, policy- and decision-makers, administrators, and parents.
