My name is Dianne Baron and I'm a new subscriber to this list serve. I am a
literacy volunteer in Gloucester,Va. I am also interested in Family
Literacy. At the present time I work with Head, Start children and their
moms showing them how to use the computer. We meet once a week and also use
homemade games and art activities. We are trying to show the parents some
activities they can do with their children at home. I would love to hear
from some people that are doing something similar. I just went to the LVA
national conference in Charlotte,NC and got lots of good information and
free stuff from the venders. I also tutor an adult in reading.
