Roxie, Ruth Handel is on this list. I'll bet she will answer your request. Meanwhile, ask your librarian for his or her list of predictable books and then access the International Reading Association's Web site for wonderful ideas on how to use these books with parents and children, and also access the National Council Teachers of English for pamphlets that will guide you and the parents with whom you are working. The National Center for Family Literacy has presented training all over the country in how to use children's literature in family education. Perhaps we could help. Good Luck.
