Subject: [NIFL-TECHNOLOGY:393] Literacy List Updated

NIFL-Technology Colleagues,

*The Literacy List,* a Web-based set of adult literacy/basic/secondary
education and ESOL Web sites, gophers, MOO's, electronic lists and other
resources, has just been updated. You will find it on line at:

http://www2.wgbh.org/mbcweis/ltc/alri/LiteracyList.html

Anyone is welcome to print and distribute this list (in its entirety,
please.) I think it is especially helpful for those who want to know
what's useful for adult students and their teachers on the Internet. If
you are letting people know about *The Literacy List,* for example in a
newsletter, please explain that it is not available from me by fax
or mail; instead, it is available to everyone -- on the Web.

Finally, I would appreciate it if you could check to see that your
favorite sites are on this list, and if not, let me know. Send me the
Internet addresses you would like me to look at and a couple of
sentences explaining why you think they are useful to adult literacy
education practitioners. This list gets better as more practitioners
give me their suggestions.

Thanks,

David J. Rosen
