I also am an Even Start Director and a teacher.  I truly believe that
reading something that we are interested in and means something to us is
one of life's greatest pleaseures.  As a teacher for at-risk youth, I
often found auto magazines to be useful reading material. Once you hook
a student, adult or child, on reading they are usually readers for life!
