The following announcement was sent to us here at NCFL.  Two documents were
attached, but I chose not to include those in this e-mail.  If you are
interested, contact Jeffrey Bright, NOT me.

The Albany Park Community Center has a position open in its Literacy
Department for a full-time professional FAMILY SERVICES COORDINATOR.

We are looking for someone with experience and training (Bachelors degree at
least) in social services, health education, early childhood education, or
adult education to lead a team of staff in our family literacy program.

Our family literacy programs provide parent education, early childhood
education for infants/toddlers and pre-schoolers, adult education,
Parent-And-Child-Together activities, a pre-school lending library, Reading
Is Fundamental book distributions, domestic violence screening, social
services information and referral, and related services to 90 families per
year.

Funding for the position is available through December 31, 2000, and
possibly beyond. Employee benefits include health insurance, life insurance,
paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, and personal days, and professional
development activities according to agency policies.
