Nominate your exceptional volunteers for both the President's Service Awards, the nation's highest honor for volunteer service, and the Daily Points of Light Awards, given each weekday to exceptional volunteers. Seeking Community Heroes... for the 2000 President's Service Awards and the 2000 Daily Points of Light Award. Individuals, families, groups, organizations, businesses or unions can be nominated. Traditionally, the President personally presents the President's Service Awards at a White House ceremony during National Volunteer Week, April 9-15. The Daily Points of Light Awards is given five times a week, Monday through Friday, including holidays.
