We are a new family literacy program struggling with how to talk about
family literacy to potential participants in languages other than
English. Are there family literacy program materials available in
Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, and Bengali?
My particular and immediate need is for Spanish translations for:
family literacy
basic skills
adult basic education
parenting
parenting skills
school success
parent-child learning activities
PACT
GED preparation
educational goals
job skills
for a flier that my co-workers would like to use to inform and recruit
Spanish speakers.
I can think of ways to say most of these things, but would like our
language to be consistent with the ways others are speaking in the
field.
Thanks for any help.
