We believe we have enough space in our training for family literacy = providers partners in neighboring states. It costs a lot for us West = Coasters to fly back to Louisville for this quality training, (We = calculated it at about $1,200 to $1,500) so we have brought the training = to Oregon for the last two summers. It has been very well received. The = cost is $495 for the training and materials. Lodging and meals are = extra, but very reasonable. If you're coming from a greater distance = many airlines serve Portland airport (PDX) and there are a number of = specials on now. We'll be in the Portland area at the wonderful retreat location, = Franciscan Renewal Center, where lodging is $35 per person and includes = breakfast and lunch. (Dinner is on your own) We also welcome commuters. Registration materials and more details are available online (You'll = need Acrobat to download it) http://literacynet.org/oregon/famlit.html (our LINCS project family = literacy internet site) Register soon. We have limited space. As Nancy would say... if you have questions, please don't respond to the = list! Instead, send questions about the training to me at my work e-mail = cathy.lindsley@state.or.us Cathy Lindsley family literacy specialist and Oregon Even Start state coordinator ------=_NextPart_000_000A_01BFAB8D.A8D91280 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content=3D"text/html; charset=3Dwindows-1252" = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META content=3D"MSHTML 5.00.2314.1000" name=3DGENERATOR></HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT size=3D2><STRONG>Join us for NCFL Family literacy training in = Oregon in=20 June</STRONG></FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2>As a part of our Oregon Reads (Reading Excellence = Act grant)=20 and our efforts to increase the quantity and quality of family literacy = programs=20 in Oregon, we'd like to invite family literacy providers and partners to = attend=20 one of two 3 1/2 day sessions of NCFL family literacy basic = implementation=20 training in late June.</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2>We believe we have enough space in our training for = family=20 literacy providers partners in neighboring states.
