To Valued Members of the Lightspan Education Community,

We have all been saddened by the tragic events of September 11 in New York
City, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania. These events have left teachers,
parents and other adults in schools across the country looking for resources
to help them give students accurate information, comfort, and reassurance.

Lightspan's team has compiled informational resources to help our children
cope with the impact of this event. Effective immediately, Lightspan is
providing these vital resources on our free Web site,
http://www.lightspan.com. These resources will help adults find ways to
discuss the tragedy with children, and cope with post-disaster stress. They
can also find out where to donate blood, or volunteer time to help
organizations such as the United Way, the American Red Cross, and others.

If you have suggestions for additional resources that you think would be
helpful to the school community, we invite you to email us at
contactus@lightspan.com.
