X-Listprocessor-Version: 6.0c -- ListProcessor by Anastasios Kotsikonas X-Mailer: AOL 5.0 for Windows sub 138 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Status: O Content-Length: 1033 Lines: 26 Hello all. This question concerns using the info from Census 2000 in need statements for grant proposals. In writing a new grant proposal, I wished to use NEW data from Census 2000 regarding the Chicago neighborhoods my agency serves (instead of relying on the old 1990 data we've been using). When I checked out the US Census on line, I read that Census 2000 info regarding INCOME and EDUCATION levels would not be released until June 2002. Can anyone tell me--did I read and understand this correctly, or is there, in fact, some way that one CAN access Census 2000 income/education level info for specific communities? If you feel that your answer may benefit many folks (and I know there are a lot of grantwriters out there), please feel free to post to the listserv by clicking on reply. If you want to direct your answer specifically to me, please feel free to email me at my address: BRmidwest@aol.com Thanks very much!
