Not always. It depends on how the list is set up. There are several lists I 
belong to where the default is reply to sender only, where the original 
person who posted is identified as the sender. In order for the reply to go 
to the list, I have to hit Reply All, and then the original poster gets it 
twice, once as the sender, and once as a member of the list.

Regardless of how it is set up, or how your own email program works, it is 
important to check your header before you send out a post -- check to see 
that it is going to where you want it to, and that the subject line 
reflects the current content of your post. This one, for example, was 
posted to the list with a subject line of Family Literacy curriculum.
