Search the back issues for Volume 2, Issue A, March 1998 where you will find "The First Three Weeks: A Critical Time for Motivation" by B. Allan Quigley. It will give you valuable, research-based information on retention. The rest of that publication has articles of interest for retention as well. I highly recommend a subscription. -- Sarah Beaman-Jones Family Literacy Specialist LIFT-Missouri 500 Northwest Plaza, Suite 601 St. Louis, MO 63047 1-800-729-4443
