Colleagues, I recently received a request to recommend resources/materials for use within family literacy programs. I was happy to share a few favorites and decided it would be beneficial if we all shared at least one of our most useful resources. In this manner all list members could benefit from our collective experience. So...here is one resource I have used: The University of Chicago Spanish Dictionary--D. Lincoln Canfield (University of Chicago Press)---provides a good amount of words, phrases and idioms; program participants enjoyed using this dictionary. Please share one of your favorite resources and be sure to include title and author.
