The National Center for Family Literacy (NCFL) and ProLiteracy Worldwide
are pleased to announce the addition of three new courses to Verizon
Literacy University (VLU), the first-ever online university
(www.vluonline.org) dedicated to connecting literacy organizations,

supporting literacy. These newest course offerings focus on information
that is crucial to a well-guided literacy program serving English

connection. Most courses can be completed in 30 to 45 minutes.
Currently, VLU offers ten unique courses designed to reach potential and
existing literacy volunteers, as well as program directors and staff.

The following courses are the newest additions to the VLU course lineup:
. Volunteering in English Language Learner Literacy Classes . Culture
and English Language Learners . Citizenship: What Volunteers Need to
Know

NCFL, ProLiteracy, and Verizon invite you to log on and check out all
