It included the following: Even Start -- $246.9 million (same as FY 2004) Adult Education State Grants -- $574,372,000 (same as FY 2004) Head Start -- $6.9 billion ($123 million increase over FY 2004) To see a full report on their action this morning, visit http://appropriations.house.gov/ The full Appropriations Committee may consider this bill as early as next week.
