Even Start is the biggest pot of funding for family literacy -- and I don't think there is an equally large pot -- but there are some other similar things. Funding is difficult right now to obtain -- and unfortunately I don't have other suggestions for you -- perhaps your school has a grants person who is familiar with the possibilities My school district does have a grant writer through BOCES -- but I fought very hard to be able to write our continuation grant because it was so competitive and I did not feel that she would have a really strong understanding of the program. It was a great move because we were one of a handful of programs that was funded. If I can think of other funding, I'll get back to you. Colleen
