They are ready to teach anytime the learner is ready; 6:15 AM, 10:48 PM,. or?. 2. They will repeat anything as often as the learner desires. 3. They can synchronize the SIGHT of a letter or group of letters with the SOUND of that letter or group of letters, (SEE-HEAR, HEAR-SEE) which, again, can be repeatedly viewed and heard so that it is solidly impressed upon the learners memory. 4. They can show the mouth movement as a person speaks a sound. 5. They can show the actual flow of a line as a letter or word is written. 6. They can be used in the privacy of the learner's own home. No need for travel, or leaving children with a care-giver. The Cons: 1. They cannot analyze the learners for their abilities or interests. 2. They cannot know when the learner needs more work on a given portion. 3. They cannot take the place of a caring human being.
