Sarah, I have just heard from our ABE program that
they had problems with the Software GED 2000 so you
might want a heads up on who you would get it from. I
was also told that there is a site called Pluto coming
from Ky at www.kyvae.org that is a tutorial for the
GED. If you can get access to it from St Louis, you
may be interested in it. It is very comprehensive
ranging from grade 1 to college level. Those going on
to the site will take a test that tells them which
level they are at and then they begin at the
appropriate level. It is self-paced and covers all
aspects on the GED containing a full curriculum
pertaining to the GED. There is a quiz at the end of
each level that they must pass to move on to the next
level. It can also be facilitated by someone in your
program. I have been told that it is free to those in
Ky but I am not sure if it is for those out of Ky. You
might want to check out the site and call the number
given.
