Thanks for clarifying Sarah! The idea of the VISTA 
staff/students being especially sensitized to the needs of other students 
(because of life experiences) seems critical to being an intermediate 
sponsor--not to mention bringing in basic supports and possibly 
connecting students to human service options in the community. They 
are filling in a lot of necassary gaps in the system and providing 
important services for persistence. Sondra
