Nick,
You mention a GED lab: does this mean you need a computer program?

Dear List,

I am looking for a specific type of curriculum for my GED lab
and an after
school "No child left behind" program. Students would be from the whole
range of abilities: Hi, medium, lo ABE, GED, ESE, ADD.

OK, so a curriculum that divides these students up into teams
based on
equality of teams is what I am looking for. Students would be reinforced
to
help each other. The curriculum would be in a game format so as to
improve
participation and attention. The game should have rules that screen out
destructive students and promote positive student engagement.

Now the hard part :). The material of the curriculum should
align with
Standards and Bench marks of basic k-12 reading levels. Questions should
reflect implicit, rather that explicit knowledge of benchmark skills .
The
material of the curriculum should be such that it requires three
questions
of each team (easy, medium, hard) so that all levels of the group can be
challenged. The material should be relative and evocative so as to
maximize
buy in on the part of the students.

Has anyone out there come across any material that touches on
this wish
list for a curriculum? Would anyone like to collaborate on creating such
a
curriculum that I would be glad to test in my classroom?
